You just need to find the right cause.
Maybe seeing John Mayer crucified?
Would that make you "rebel without a cause" or "rebel without a clue"?
That's an interesting paradox.
I'm sure you will find something that you are passionate enough about to rebel.
In even thinking this, let alone posting this, your rebelling against needing a cause.
He's coming here to do a free concert (John Mayer). Mob will be there. Come on up! Poor Anomie-A!
It's a great line, anyway. I guess a friend could help you by offending you.
Woman: "What are you rebelling against?"
Johnny: "Whatta you got?"
From The Wild Bunch, 1953.
that's interesting, i think in college i had at times wished i was part of a more politically active campus so i could "join in" on the activity of otheres...
but start something...there was nothing politically I cared enough about to create the revolution.

Those lines from the Wild Bunch (thanks inkyhack for the reminder) totally impressed me then and just now, again.
"Rebel without a clue"- I think that's a line from a Replacement's song?
yup i hear ya...
This brings to mind "Whatever it is, I'm against it." From "I'm Against It" a song in the Marx Brothers Movie, Horse Feathers.
