Gray...*

I love it when the weather matches my mood. Today it is overcast and the temperature is mild. The day feels like a blank canvas.

I wish music was rated like wine. Wine has guidelines such as: white wine is only served with chicken, seafood, and other white meats; red wine goes with red meat; certain sweeter wines are paired best with desserts. Perhaps genres of music could be paired with moods?

Tonight I need to buy some music for the upcoming road trip. Recommendations?

I'm not sure what your interests are. Scott and I have a cd that we have deemed our "roadtrip music." Somehow it has always found it's way into the player. It's Collective Soul. I don't know the name of the album, but the cd looks white with a honeycomb design on it.
Otherwise, I would suggest Dido, Nelly Furtado, Morcheeba, Portishead, Air, or something to that effect. Road trips are fun. Good luck finding the music to accompany it!

Driving at night, the soundtrack to Paris, Texas.

Driving in the daytime, Sonny Terry and Brownie McGee.

Or else, you can buy Schoolhouse Rocks as a CD now.

i love gray days...they're my favorite.

Something fun for a road trip...i always enjoy a little Jack Johnson...or how about India.Aire.

I don't know they were the first two things that popped into my head.

I'm probably too late (story of my life) but I would recommend anything by The Thievery Corporation

Inkyhack is smart. Listen to Inkyhack. Also, Mad Ethel's onto something as well. I'd add in some Beck and Poe and it's off you go.

The recent CD by Mark Knopfler and Emmylou Harris is outstanding and "relaxing," in my opinion.

It's not gray here in Oklahoma. Just cooler - and yes, 82 F is cooler ;-)

Look into Bryan Ferry - the album "Mamouna" with a Mondavi Reserve Merlot and a Lindt Dark Truffle, scented candle of your choice (make sure you turn off your crackberry).

SHHH. Don't tell anyone... I have exceeded my RDA of "sissy points" with this post. I am a guy.
